As we are receiving many queries regarding how to find good product for Amazon UAE - FBA model. So here is the brief post for you to get started.


I am delineating below criteria keeping in mind the risk factor, which is always associated with the new sellers. So, to mitigate the risk, we must take note of few points to be on the safe side.


Please take note that UAE product hunting criteria is slightly differ from USA and UK markets, where you have found many tools for your help but for UAE, we do not have such luxury. However, you can use Egrow but I must recommend to go for the manual stock tracking before choosing the product.


Seasonal Product:


The product must be for all season and not for one season or subject to festivities. You can check this through Google Trends by using product keywords.


Standard weight:


We strongly recommend to avoid heavy weight products and go for the standard size product. This will help to reduce your freight cost and minimize Amazon storage fee.


No. of FBA sellers on the listing:


There should not be more than 1 FBA seller on the listing. More FBA seller means more competition for winning the buy box and this will lead to price war. For new sellers, we recommend avoiding price war. More FBM sellers making not much harm.


Product BSR:


Lower your BSR number, the higher your rank is. Better to look for product with BSR range from 1-1000.


Product Category:


For new sellers, our advice is to start with categories like, Home & Kitchen, Sports & Outdoors, Tools & Home Improvement.


Apart from above you must take note / avoid below points while hunting.


· Go for Unbranded Products


· Amazon not selling the product


· Breakable products like; Glass, Weak, Ceramics Products


· Products with variation


· Electronics & Battery Items


· Gated Items (You can check the list of gated items on Amazon.ae)


Based on above criteria, you will be able to shortlist many products. But before finalizing the products please go through sourcing and profit margins.
